About The Cardboards
Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA-based synthpunk/post-punk band. The Cardboards appeared in the 1980 cult film "Debt Begins at 20", a quasi-fictional documentary about Pittsburgh's lively post-punk scene. Members included: Max Haste (Joe O'Lear), Bill Bored (Bill von Hagen), Ron Solo (Ron Washensky), Ivan (later replaced by Keeth Teeth then Marie Alexander). They released one album - " Greatest Hits, Vol. 2" in 1981. Drummer Bill Bored would later go on to become a founding member of the popular Pittsburgh garage rock band The Cynics.
