About The Bot Flies
The Bot Flies are an indie rock band with an electronica edge based out of the Pine Barrens of South Jersey. The band was formed during the summer of '06 after the break-up of the Philosophiks, by Adam Scavette and John Mick. In the late fall of '06, Erik Schroder, Nikki Baylies, and Zane Kanevsky, of Goodnight or Sleep, were recruited into the band . "Elliot's Jambergamy" was the bands first single released online (www.myspace.com/botflies) in early September '06 which was soon followed by their second release, "Six Athenian Pachyderms".
