Its all started in 1998 in south jakarta, we often met at local punk shows (Poster Cafe Jakarta). When we re enjoy the show and wacthing The idiots, Inasub, Antiseptic (a great local band). Playing, got drunk, hung out too much and then there were the Borstal. The Borstal first incarnation: Bowo: Vox Agus: Guitar Chamvret: Bass Embot: Drum Bowo left the band then he make Proletar (grind Punk) Later Edi from emptycase (rip) hardcore punk replaces
