About The Bar Boys

The Bar Boys were a garage band formed in Paragould, Arkansas in 1964. The original group was David Yates, Lead guitar, Mike Ford, drums, Charlie Schaaf, guitar, Bobby Mitchell, bass. The group evolved with Bill Morgan on drums for a period of time and later was made up of David Yates, guitar, Eddie Ross, drums, Tommy Arnold, keyboard, Greig Lynn, bass. It was this group who recorded "Sound of My Heart (written by Jamie Holmes of Senath, Missouri) amd Hit the Road Jack.
