About The Aphorist
Technical Death Metal Outfit From Virginia Beach Virginia. THE APHORIST was founded in Virginia Beach, Virginia in early 2008 under the name Amidst The Bloodshed. Founding member/guitarist Braulio Almeida recruited Mike Greene (Vox) Mike Cole (Drums) and Frank Corso (Guitar) to complete a lineup. After numerous try-outs on bass we decided to proceed with vigorous writing without a bassist. Several songs were completed then thrown away in attempts to not sound like your average band.
