About The Angry Orts
Aaron Ettlin (guitar), James Puryear (bass), Matthew Hernandez (drums) and Sara Hernandez (vocals) combine to form one of the most unique indie bands to hit the Portland music scene in recent years. Dance-punk beats meet infectious pop melodies to create songs that both bounce and swagger. In 2008, the band worked with engineer Skyler Norwood (Blind Pilot, Horse Feathers) at Miracle Lake Studios for their debut album and returned in 2010 for their sophomore effort with honed songwriting skills and a completely refined sound.
