About The Andantes
The Andantes were session singers for Motown in the 60`s and early 70`s.Original members were Marlene Barrow,Louvain Demps and Jackie Hicks, singing backing vocals for the likes of Marvin Gaye,The Four Tops and The Marvelettes.The equivalent of The Funk Brothers, they have been reported to have sang backing vocals on over 20,000 Motown tracks.
