About The Amalgamation
Formed in Timmins, Ontario in 2006 by four high school friends, The Amalgamation is plays a loose, jammy brand of indie-rock that takes its cues from progressive rock of the 70s as much as it does indie music of the 80s and 90s. The band released an online EP entitled, "Feel The Flavour", which is free to download from http://www.browndwarf.ca/amalgamation Currently, the band is writing a debut full length which will be released in the summer of 2010.
