About The Afterbeat
The Afterbeat is a six-piece Ska ensemble that has been together since late 2000. Mixing upbeat contemporary influences into the well known soulful blend of old school Two Tone Ska and earlier Punk music. The Afterbeat were named in Alternative Press (Aug 2003) magazine by Bucket Hingley (The Toasters/Moon Ska Records) as one of the top ten North American Ska acts performing presently. Things remain solid and they have just released a full length album (Personals) to follow up on the success of their first EP (Balls Out).
