Their new album Tales From the Black Freighter is due out 10th Feb 2012. They were conceptualised in a Stockwell beer garden in September 2008, while playing at a gig in other bands. They started rehearsals in February 2009 and played their first show on 22nd of May that year. The 9s have since played around London
