Thanatorean is a Polish black metal duo, formed in 2024 by multi-instrumentalist K.M. (known for his work in Ars Magna Umbrae) and vocalist E (from Cultum Inferitum). The band's style has been described as "cavernous and catacomb-like black metal, illuminated by sinister melodic touches and propelled by roaring vocals". The lyrical themes of Thanatorean delve into the realm of underground death cults, the unfathomable depths of the afterlife, and mankind's ancestral fear of dying.
