There are at least 5 bands named Tetanus: 1) Tetanus is a hardcore punk band out of Charlotte, North Carolina that came together when in May of 2020 when three ex-members of 7 Minutes in a Microwave broke the band up just as the COVID-19 pandemic started to hit in the US. Emphasizes playing wild, noisy, and punky hardcore bolstered by squealing, heaving bursts of synth noise. Their debut EP was released on Sorry State Records in December 2020. Released their second EP in May of 2022, and broke up in August of that year.
