About testrauschen
Testrauschen was founded in May 2002, when Enzo Cage and Karsten Koch recorded their first improvisation session, "The Fermi Paradox". Having spent almost 10 years composing tracker music on home computers, they soon realized the antipodal quality of improvised music and the deep expressional capabilities of analogue synthesizers from the 70s. Their music could be best described as painting with sounds. Synthesizer spheres open up sonic landscapes, upon wich vocoder voices and beautiful melodies are layered.
