Teruo Nakamura is a Jazz Bassist & Producer Living in NYC for the last 38 years. ... During which he has produced over 50 albums many of which include performances by such legendary musicians as Stanley Turrentine, George Benson, Roy Haynes, Grover Washington, Nona Hendryx, Hellen Merrill and many other world class players. In 1999 Teruo received the 24th Nanri Fumio Award for Excellent achievement in the year 1998 and for exceptional contribution to the development of the Jazz Music in Japan by Swing Journal.
