About Tenhi
Tenhi is a Finnish neofolk band formed in 1996. The band’s music is characterised by a minimalistic and dark sound, combining elements of modern rock with strong folk influences. While the rhythm sections often follow the conventions of contemporary rock music, the melodic instruments and vocals draw heavily from traditional folk styles. The core instrumentation includes acoustic guitar, bass, and drums, with frequent use of piano, violin, viola, and flute.
