TELECOM are a four piece Australian indie-rock band who broke onto the Melbourne live-music scene in May 2005. Utilising two guitars (Darren Levin, Nick Roe), one lead-bass player (Gregory Erdstein) and one drum kit, with included cymbals (Blake Williams), they feature ex members of several bands that both you and they have not heard of. If you can imagine Dinosaur Jr. as a Sonic Youth cover band, trying to play the music of The Pixies while fronted by Bruce Springsteen, you must have quite an imagination.
