Teknikal (born October 8, 1989 in Toronto, Canada) began rapping at the age of 13 and has managed to grab the attention of many listeners worldwide. Ever since the young age of 4, Tek showed great interest in music, so it was no surprise to family and friends when he chose to pursue a career in the industry. Growing up, he would spend time listening to both his father’s and uncle’s old tapes, mostly 80’s and 90’s rock. It wasn’t until years later when Tek would discover and learn to love the art of hip-hop.
