
About Tavito
Luís Otávio de Melo Carvalho, better known as Tavito (Belo Horizonte, January 26, 1948 - São Paulo, February 26, 2019), was a Brazilian singer, musician and composer. Some of his compositions became great successes, such as "Rua Ramalhete" (with Ney Azambuja) and "Casa no Campo" (with Zé Rodrix). He was also known for the jingle "Coração Verde e Amarelo", written alongside Aldir Blanc, who became a theme in the Rede Globo broadcasts of the victorious Brazilian team at the 1994 World Cup.
