Over the 45 years of its existence, the Tapiola Choir has evolved into one of the world’s best-known and most sought-after children’s and youth choirs. The Tapiola Choir is famous for its distinctive sound, described using a term coined by music critics abroad: the Tapiola Sound. The Choir has more than 50 members, young musicians aged 9 to 18, all of whom also play at least one musical instrument in addition to singing. The Choir’s concerts often include choreography and instrumental numbers.
