About Tapiolan kuoro
The Tapiola Choir (Tapiolan kuoro) is a children's chorus based in Espoo, Finland. It was founded in 1963 by Erkki Pohjola and is recognized as one of the world's most respected youth choirs. The choir's distinctive style has become widely known by music critics as the "Tapiola Sound." Performing a mixed repertoire of classical and folk music, the choir appears some 40 times a year in Finland and abroad, making as many as 6 to 8 foreign trips annually.
