
About Tabaré Etcheverry
Francisco José Etcheverry Tort better known as Tabaré Etcheverry (October 28, 1945, Melo - April 21, 1978, Montevideo) was an Uruguayan singer and songwriter in the folk genre of projection of the region and especially in his country. Because of his untimely disappearance he was not present in the boom of so-called "Canto Popular Uruguayo" in the 1980s, because of broadcasting policy in his country and for other reasons, he has not had a recognition according to their history and music production.
