About Szilvási Gipsy Folk Band
The history of the Szilvási Gipsy Folk Band Accoring to the leader of the band - István Szilvási - the beginnings can be traced back to a gipsy middle school camp in 1988 where several teenage students started to sing together. A few years later, during a winter camp in 1992, they formed the Romano Glasco Gipsy Sound band. Their big break came in 1993 with their entry in the national „Ki mit tud?” talent show, to which the leader of the band submitted their application at the very last second.
