Melbourne duo Sweet Jean is Alice Keath & Sime Nugent. Their music has ‘gravel and soul’, combining darker and bent folk influences with clap-your-hands, old-school pop sensibilities. They play electric and acoustic guitars, banjo, autoharp and harmonica, with razor-sharp harmonies at the centre of it all. Sweet jean’s debut single “Shiver and Shake” was released in December 2011, and has been getting some great responses around the traps.
