About Sur Sudha
Sur Sudha is an instrumental band from Kathmandu, Nepal, playing Eastern classical music. The group is lead by Surendra Shrestha on tabla, with Prem Rana Autari on flute (Basuri) and Satendra Bir Singh Tuladhar on sitar. They have been active since 1987 and have performed over 2,000 concerts worldwide. They were Nepal's Goodwill Tourism Ambassadors in 2011. Surendra Shrestha began playing the tabla at the age of nine and began his professional career in 1985. He formed Sur Sudha in 1987.
