Superbug surgiu em 1993, em Florianópolis, derivando das ideias adolescentes principalmente de Fábio Bianchini (na época, um promissor colaborador do inesquecível Fútio Indispensável) e Diógenes Fischer. Com algumas mudanças de formação, duas fitas lançadas (“Take Yer Horse Off The Rain” e “Baby Baby”) o quarteto completado por Vanessa e Alex estava sumido desde 2004, quando lançou o EP “Hot Milk”.
