Summer Happened is a pop punk band from Phoenix, Arizona. Their sound has been compared to bands like The Movielife, Lifetime, Saves the Day, Jawbreaker, New Found Glory, Bayside and Kid Dynamite. To date, the band has done everything on its own, preferring to operate in the tradition of the DIY punk bands that influenced them. Summer Happened has played with many of the most up-and-coming bands in its genre including: This Time Next Year (Equal Vision Records), Polar Bear Club (Bridge 9 Records) and Broadway Calls (Side One Dummy Records).
