
About Sum 41
Sum 41 was a Canadian rock band formed in Ajax, Ontario, in 1996. The final line-up consisted of Deryck Whibley, Dave Baksh, Jason McCaslin, Tom Thacker and Frank Zummo. The band signed an international recording contract with Island Records in 1999 and released their debut extended play "Half Hour of Power" in 2000. Their first studio album, "All Killer No Filler", followed in 2001 and achieved mainstream success, particularly through the single "Fat Lip", which reached number one on the Billboard Modern Rock Tracks chart.
