About Sugar Wounds
Sugar Wounds is a one man Picogrind (a fusion genre of Blackgaze and Grindcore) band based in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. They make heavy use of dissonance and high pitched piercing guitar tones, panic chords, cascading walls of feedback, and later on significant use of synth pedals, particularly the Meris Enzo. Sugar Wounds' sole member, Matt "Tanpopo" Miller, has multiple other one man projects, such as Tanpopo Crisis and Fucked as well as having previously been the drummer for Sachiel. The bands lyrics heavily reference anime and manga.
