Submerge refers to at least 4 artists: 1) An electronic/techno DJ from Chicago. 2) Submerge was a hardcore/screamo/crust band from France. 3) A Richmond, VA based rock band who gained a decent following from 1996~2001 before breaking up to get "real jobs." Drummer, Tony Thaxton, went on to join Motion City Soundtrack in 2002 and was followed by bassist Matthew Taylor, previous to the release of "I Am The Movie." Singer and guitarist, Justin Bailey went on play in several bands, Mazarin and Delegate among them.
