About Subaphotic
Basically, this is a band consisting of a dad and his daughter. 'Dad' is a Geordie - from Gateshead, apparently - and he plays guitar and does all the singing. Plus he writes all the songs, I see from the album. His daughter plays keyboards. Kevin and Chantal Patton, they're called. Checking their website, it seems Kevin has a novel out too, called 'Ankhst'. Their music is basically solid, melodic pop-rock, some nice guitars, great melodies, a fair bit of variety. Tricky to categorise.
