There are at least three artists with the name Strobes. 1. A band from Montreal (2005) 2. A band from New Zealand (2013) 3. A band from London (2016) 1. Strobes was formed out of the desire of three Montreal musicians to get together and make some noise. Brooke Crouser (HṚṢṬA), Felix Morel (Fly Pan Am) and Sophie Trudeau (Godspeed You! Black Emperor, A Silver Mt. Zion, Set Fire to Flames, Diebold) played a few times before their debut show in November 2005
