About Strangeweather
Strangeweather is a band based in Portland, OR, which plays dark, heavy, atmospheric music infused with elements of neo-folk, post-punk, death rock, darkwave, chamber-metal and doom. Featuring members of Slow Teeth, Hang the Old Year and Tansy & Tarweed, they began as long distance collaboration in early 2010. After 2 years of writing and recording material in fits and spurts, Sarah Ann Lachner joined Joshum and Brenna Sahatjian in Portland and they transitioned into a full time band in late 2012.
