About Stone JuJu
In the summer of 1987, in Santa Rosa, Ca, Steven Cappello, vocalist, Gino Di Biasi, guitar player and drummer Eric Strand, left skate/punk band Vertical Urge. They decided they wanted to start a whole, other, kind of band with lead guitar player, Jason Takeuchi-Krist. They started writing some songs and liked it. They brought in a cousin of their former band's managers, bass player, Manuel Taulogan. They began playing around Santa Rosa and the San Francisco bay area and getting good rowdy response.
