About Stiphnoyds
The four members of The Stiphnoyds started playing music together in Warren, Oregon around 1977. After one of the kids uncles turned them onto The Ramones and The Sex Pistols, the teens were blown away and immediately began playing punk. By 1978, the group had played the few small underground clubs available in nearby Portland and joined The Alternative Arts Association, an organization of a dozen or so Portland punk bands who were trying get their new brand of rock music heard.
