Music is his passion, his life. Stevie grew up listening to and learning a wide variety of music. However, Blues, Soul, Rhythm & Blues, Funk, came natural to him playing and singing. Revered as one of the all time greats and a groove monster, especially among African-American musicians, he is highly respected, and is in consistent demand for his original brand of "riding the feel" Blues - Soul drumming, and "in the pocket" R&B/Funk drumming/singing for both stage and studio. He is also deeply steeped in Southern and Classic Rock roots.
