
About Stern Combo Meissen
Stern Meißen (formerly Stern Combo Meißen or Stern Combo Meissen) is a German rock band founded in 1964 in Meißen, East Germany. The original lineup included Martin Schreier, Norbert Jäger, and Bernd Fiedler, and the band initially performed covers of songs by the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, and the Kinks. In the early 1970s, Thomas Kurzhals (keyboard) and Reinard Fißler (vocals) joined, forming what is regarded as the classic lineup. In 1975, the band appeared in a scene of the film "Hostess", performing alongside Nina Hagen.
