Originally from Tempe, Arizona, but now living in Portland, Oregon, Stephen Ashbrook became a part of the historical "Tempe Sound" that included other AZ-based acts such as "The Gin Blossoms", "The Peacemakers", "The Pistoleros" and "Dead Hot Workshop" during the late 1990's and early 2000s. Stephen is well known for his live performances, such as chronicled on the Double Live @ Long Wong's cd, as well as his shows at "The Spirit Room" in Jerome, AZ, a small, former ghost town north of Phoenix.
