
Stefan Tischler, born July 24th, 1946 in Brooklyn, New York, passed away Sunday, January 23, 2011. In the early 1980s, Stefan shifted his interest from theater to music, starting the electro-acoustic experimental music group called "Port Said" which continues until today almost with a cult underground following. He went on to create and produce more than a dozen original, independent albums called "Cinematics" which were mastered by Edward Vinatea, his good friend and audio engineer.
