About State Route 522
State Route 522 was a Seattle-based mid-90s post-hardcore band named after State Route 522 in Washington State. The group is best known for its release on Excursion Records entitled "Samson Is Apollo." They also recorded a split with Lying on Loot (Rocky Votolato's first band). The band broke up in 1997 and three-quarters moved on to form Sharks Keep Moving.
