Standing on the Corner is an American experimental jazz and hip-hop group based in Brooklyn, led by Gio Escobar. Standing on the Corner emerged from the New York underground art and music scene and have been referred to as a post-genre group praised for their use and blends of different sounds. Standing on the Corner started off as a 2 member band called Children of the Corner, and then later integrated more members throughout the years including important figures like SLAUSON MALONE. As of 2025 the band has 7 members in total.
