About Standard Candle
Matthew Bright, Jamie Purvis, Josh Patrick and Michael Poe - This is Standard Candle - A rock band - and it's as simple as that. The band was started by singer/songwriter Josh Patrick and bassist Matthew Bright, who, after working together on a few demos, decided that they would concentrate their efforts on forming a band that celebrated the qualities that they held dear in music. Raw emotion, melody and power soon began emerging from their songwriting sessions and the two knew they had something special.
