About Stamen
There are at least 2 groups with the name Stamen. 1) Stamen existed during the early '90's in and around the Wicker Park alternative rock scene of Chicago, Illinois. They released two 7" records on the Stopped Clock label. The first single was recorded by Bundy K Brown, the second by Mike Hagler. The five-piece band's signature heavy guitar sound was enriched by classic rock, punk, and new wave songwriting influences, and by the empassioned deliveries of the four vocalists.
