The floating, wistful electronica of Spring In A Small Town is sonic celebration of the chronologies, histories and memories embedded within the ancient woodland and provincial villages of Kent. Growing up in the countryside of South-East England, producer George Cloke developed a deep connection to the local landscape and folklore. “It’s a liminal space: mundane yet magical, tied to heritage and myth, shaped and reformed through a collective misremembering of an idealised past”.
