About Spooner
Spooner was a late 1970s to early 1980s power pop/college rock band from Madison, Wisconsin. Members Butch Vig and Doug (Duke) Erikson would later go on to form popular 1990s alternative band Garbage with Shirley Manson. In addition, there is a dutch rock band named Spooner. Three (or four?) guys, using a double pedal drumset, lots of distorted guitars and a wrecked-by-alcohol-voice making powerful rock music. They play songs of their own and covers.
