About Speedtwins
Speedtwins is a cult punk/rock/new wave band from holland who were active during the late 70ies and early 80ies. Speedtwins was formed towards the end of 1977 and started as a punkrock band. Line up from the start was Jodie Daniël on vocals, Nico Groen on drums, Leen Barbier on guitar, Vera Groen on vocals and high heels, Jackie on bass. They released their debut-album ‘It's More Fun To Compete’ in 1977, using obscure aliases like Meen Ling, Trix, Helen Heels, Jailbait Jacki and Jody.
