About Souvlaki
Inspired by 70’s Disco, 80’s Hip Hop and House, Souvlaki is the pseudonym of Mark Summers - the DJ/Producer/Recording artist who launched Scorccio Records in July 1996. From the early 90’s he went from being a sound engineer to a top UK dance producer. He inspired The Prodigy to release their first hit (they used to watch him DJ), he’s worked with Jocelyn Brown, Malcolm McLaren, Aphex Twin and 1999 Mercury Music Prize Winner - Talvin Singh.
