About South German Philharmonic
The "South German Philharmonic" was a short-lived pick-up ensemble assembled by conductor Alfred Scholz from members of the Czech Philharmonic in Prague and the Bamberg Symphony around 1968. The group might have been reconvened from time to time since they are accredited with productions from as recent as 2009.
