About Sound of Ruby
Sound of Ruby (Saudi Arabia) A Dammam-based rock band that plays grunge, indie, punk & blues. Formed in 1996 by M. Al-Hajjaj (vocals & guitars) & Nasser Frog (drums). After so many bassists joined and quickly left, Kamal (Bass) took his position in the band as a permanent bassist. Even though the band's been playing since then, they made their first demo "Super Acoustic" in 2004. The second effort "Blue Lips" was released in 2005. The album style was limited to blues and grunge due to the lack of proper recording equipment and record quality.
