About Sound Effects
A. Symphonies of the planets: NASA Voyager recordings - a series of recordings (5 volumes) that was created from original Voyager recordings. Although space is a virtual vacuum, the sounds were created through the conversion of electronic vibrations. The specially designed instruments on board the Voyagers performed special experiments to pick up and record these vibrations, all within the range of human hearing. The recordings come from a variety of different sound environments and are listed as follows :
