Sophia the Ocean once named Sophia is an alternative rock combined with pop punk elements and hardcore influences from Viña del Mar, Chile that formed in 2007.[2] The band consists of Juan Pablo Ossès (Vocals/Guitar), Sebastian Ossès (Bass guitar/Vocals), Francisco Tapia (Guitar), and Sergio Alvarez (Drums).[3] They self-released two EPs in 2007 Cities are like Black Holes and 2008 While We build over the Ocean. Sophia independently released Cities are like Black Holes EP in the Spring of 2007.
